Fractional Growth Advisor

A growth advisor who handles strategy and takes execution off your plate.

Some brands need a head of strategy. Some need a head of creative. Some already have a growth lead and just need someone great in Ads Manager. I plug in wherever growth is stuck and do the thinking and the work.

From $7,500/month  ·  whichever seat I'm in

The Growth Den: from problems to systems
Brands and teams I've worked with
Sound familiar?

You need someone who can
think and do.
The usual options pick one.

Money icon: a full-time hire takes months

A full-time marketing leader takes months to find and you're not ready for that commitment — or you don't even know what you'd have them do yet. I'm up and running in two weeks.

Social post icon: agencies do the work for you

Agencies do the work for you and take it with them when the contract ends. You're renting results, not building capability.

Person icon: a growth lead stretched thin

Your growth lead is stretched thin. They're great, but they can't set strategy, run creative and live in Ads Manager all at once.

X icon: consultants who advise but don't execute

Consultants tell you what to do and bill you for the advice. The doing still falls on you.

Plug me in where growth is stuck

Services.

The seat changes. The deal doesn't: strategy and execution from the same person, starting at $7,500 a month. Plenty of clients start in one seat and end up with me in two. If you need the whole function covered for a while, there's an interim service for that too.

"You need someone to decide where the next dollar goes."

Where I start
  • A pre-audit read of every channel, judged on MER and contribution margin, not one platform's attribution
  • A 90-day plan written as bets, each with a cost, a success measure and a stop date
  • A weekly leadership session with you and your team
What you keep

A "what to do" dashboard your team actually opens, and a plan that doesn't live in a Google Doc nobody reads.

Where I start
  • A map of which roles you need filled and in what order
  • Job descriptions, interview rubrics and onboarding for your next marketing hire
  • SOPs and AI workflows written for the people who'll run them
What you keep

A team that knows how to run the systems, trained by the person who built them.

"Your marketing leader is gone, or not hired yet, and the team still needs an owner on Monday."

Where I start
  • Take over the team, the budget and the blended number for a fixed window, usually three to six months
  • Grade every agency and in-house buyer on MER and contribution margin, and keep creative and launches moving
  • Write the real job description, help you hire the permanent leader, and onboard them into a system that already runs
What you keep

A marketing function that didn't stall during the gap, and a permanent hire who inherits a working system instead of a mess.

What clients say

Don't take my word for it.

The people who worked with me are probably who sent you here.

★★★★★

"I have been so impressed with Logan's work, communication, and results! For the first time in our business, I feel like I have clarity into every important decision, and his pulse on our specific goals combined with his attentive responses and action are truly incredible. It's such a gift to get to work with someone who can lead both strategy and execution. I would have paid 20x for an agency for the same engagement, and probably a worse outcome. Beyond the excellence in his work, Logan is such a passionate, inclusive, and culture-driven part of this team, demonstrating influential leadership in even a fractional engagement. 11/10, can't recommend enough. Would hire him anywhere!"

★★★★★

"Logan is the only strategist I've ever met who can explain Meta updates in a way that makes sense to both a C-Suite Exec and a Preschool Teacher. It's unsettling how good he is at this."

Transparent pricing

No mystery. No "let's hop on a call to discuss budget."

Most people in this space show no pricing at all. I'd rather you know the ballpark now than waste either of our time.

There's no built-in exit date. Clients keep me around because the work gets done and they like working with me.

What you get for it is the same in every seat: the weekly leadership session, me in the work alongside your team, same-day replies, and systems your team keeps.

$7,500+
per month  ·  whichever seat I'm in
✓Strategy and execution from the same senior person
✓Plans, dashboards, creative workflows and playbooks your team owns
✓Weekly working sessions with you and your team
✓AI tooling built into how your team works, and training on it
✓Access to my vetted specialist network when the work calls for it
✓Ad spend and software stay in your accounts, never marked up
Where it lands above $7,500 depends on: how many seats I'm covering, how much building is involved, and whether specialist support is needed. Interim head of marketing covers the whole function and is scoped to the size of the team and budget. Bigger go-to-market programs are scoped separately.

About

Strategy and execution, from the same person.

I'm Logan Ice. I've spent my career in growth at P&G, Varsity Tutors (Series A through C, three cities to an international brand, later a $1.4B IPO), Slalom, Little Passports, Wuffes (where we went from $14M to $40M+) and Equifax. Now I run The Growth Den out of St. Louis.

What I kept noticing is that brands don't usually need another full-time leader. They need someone good who can plug in, figure out what's actually going on, and then go do something about it. Sometimes that's a strategy seat, sometimes it's a creative seat, and sometimes it's rolling up my sleeves in Ads Manager.

I build a lot with AI, and I teach teams to build with it too. But the part that matters most is still human: sitting in the meeting and noticing why the founder is really asking for "more ads."

Questions people ask

The short answers.

What does a fractional growth advisor do?

I plug into your business in whatever seat growth needs most. Sometimes that's head of strategy, deciding where the next dollar goes. Sometimes it's head of creative, building a pipeline that stops your ads looking like everyone else's. Sometimes you already have a growth lead and need someone great in Ads Manager. Either way you get the strategy and the execution from the same person.

How much does The Growth Den cost?

Engagements start at $7,500 a month, whichever seat I'm in. Where it lands above that depends on how many seats I'm covering and how much building is involved. Ad spend and software stay in your accounts and aren't part of the fee. Taking a whole new product to market is a bigger custom program, and we'd scope that together.

Do you just advise, or do you do the work?

Both, and that's the point. Most advisors hand you a plan and leave you to execute it. I'll write the plan and then go build the dashboard, launch the ads, set up the creative workflow and train whoever on your team will run it.

Can you work alongside our existing growth lead or agency?

Yes. A lot of my work is filling the gap next to someone who's already there, whether that's a stretched-thin growth lead who needs a strategist, or a team that has strategy covered and needs hands-on media buying and tooling.

Are you an agency?

No, and I don't particularly like the agency model. Agencies build everything inside their own accounts and their own heads, and the day you stop paying you find out how little of it belongs to you. I build the systems with your team, in your accounts, and teach your people to run them, so what we build is yours whether I'm around or not.

Who do you work with?

Founders and marketing leaders at growth-stage DTC and e-commerce brands. I've done growth at P&G, Varsity Tutors, Little Passports, Wuffes and Equifax, so I'm comfortable anywhere from a scrappy team of three to a big org.

How do you use AI in the work?

I build simple, cheap-to-run AI tools into how your team works: creative pipelines, reporting dashboards, launch workflows, incrementality checks. You own them and I teach your team to use them. The judgment about why a founder is really asking for something stays human.

How long do engagements last?

As long as it's useful. Clients usually hire me for one thing and keep me around for more, because the work gets done and they like working with me. There's no six-month exit plan built in.
